What Lilith in Libra Means for You and Your Relationships, According to Your Zodiac Sign
June 29 2024 - March 27 2025 ⚖️
Hello, my friends! I hope you’re all doing fantastically amidst the chaos of August. We are in the middle of Mercury retrograde, so I figured I’d revisit some of my previously drafted posts to publish and share with you all, finally. On that note, this one’s all about Black Moon Lilith and what this means for us while it transits the sign of Libra.
Black Moon Lilith is the geometric point in the sky that marks the furthest point of the moon’s orbit around the Earth. This dark void embodies the very essence of the goddess Lilith. The most common myth says that Lilith was Adam’s first wife. Both were made from the dust of the Earth, so the dark goddess assumed she was equal to Adam and thus refused to lie beneath him during sex.
In a birth chart, however, Black Moon Lilith is symbolic of our primitive impulses and behaviors in their rawest form. It essentially reveals themes surrounding our repressed sexuality, together with what makes us feel most vulnerable. Lilith in Libra challenges traditional relationship roles, as there’s a strong urge to redefine partnership in more egalitarian & unconventional ways.
The magnetic and alluring presence associated with Lilith enhances seduction, attraction & the exploration of beauty and aesthetics within relationships when in the sign of Libra… but the same irresistible lure can also lead to complex power dynamics.
Lilith in Libra can manifest as tension between the ideals of justice and balance and the darker, more repressed aspects of power & authority. It may bring issues of inequality and corruption to light, challenging traditional norms & structures within governmental institutions. There could also be a demand for transparency and accountability from those in power.
